Don't know what a ping is? Clueless when it comes to pinging?

If you have a Blog then pinging is something you need to do.

Pinging is useful because it helps you to increase your site traffic, it tells people that you have a new post and your frequent readers will know by seeing the pings and might want to visit you again to check on your new post also newcomers can see the updates as long as you belong to similar pinging services like technorati, weblogs, etc.

The good news is that pinging is very easy if you have a Wordpress blog.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Login to your blog.

2. Go to options and then writing.

3. Copy the list below and paste it into the list of sites to ping.

4. Hit the Update button.

It is that simple. Now each time you make a new post to your blog, each of these websites will be 'Pinged' and the result can be more traffic to your site.
