This incident goes a long way to show how much confusion, if not outright disregard, exists in how we approach the inherent responsibility we should have for each other in this world. Our "modus operandi" emanates from a hopeless self-centeredness that contaminates much of the decisions we make in life.

Thanks for taking up that little girl's fight even in the midst of such carelessness.

Chris, Unfortunately most Americans have a totally mypoic viw of the world. They confuse Austria with Australia and think the whole planet revoles around them. My advice? Forget them. There's a whole new world out there America - and you ain't going to be part of it!

It is sad but true. U.S. residents are becoming very jadded. Not only do we rush the dead off to a funeral palor so we will not have to deal with the realities, smell and ugliness of death, we do not want our lives of entertainment to be disturbed by the realites of the horror much of the world lives in.

Many are no longer willing to contribute to the needs of mankind. Our wars and illusionary lives are to be protected at all cost. The word "sacrifice" is looked upon as a burden and not a blessing. Christ called us to spread the gospel and to help the needy.

There is a big vacancy sign upon the place where God once abided in our society. It is sadly a reality that the virtues and the principles our country was founded upon have been outlawed and now the results of such action is coming to fruition.

One must give to receive, A life wasted on serving others shall be a life well spent.

My prayer is one day God will return to our society and we shall see His blessings again. I look forward to the day a child such as Chen Chao will be looked upon as an opportunity and not with distain or as an interuption. We need a radical re-awkening. Sadly the future is in dangerous waters.

Thank God there are a few people like Chris Bloor that deeply care. Even though it is lonely, do not fret. You are still living. Christ was crucified for His love.

hey Chris look up Merlins Miracles website he was all over the net today. He was a 19 yr old marine when he was blown up and burned over 97% of his body…. In the foto online today he looks ghastly , but he is smiling! After 3 years of incredible courage and pain he expired during a small surgery after enduring over 100 prior surgeries. What Im saying is they allowed his pics so just go another route. I am angry too Im living most of the year in the Philippines now doing missions and the things they do to keep oppressing the poor is monumental. I agree with you Chris, it is sad that people react this way to someone who has suffered a great deal. However, if you think about the shallow people who use this website I think you will realize that they are not typical of the general public.

If you can circulate a picture of the girl to your readers, with a brief explanation of her circumstances, then I think you will receive a favourable response.

I will certainly be pleased to send any such material to my friends and family.

I think it stinks to as it could have generated more helping hands. I guess in this day and age of internet exploitation the person that pulled it thought that they were doing the right thing by that child, what other possible reason could there be? Surely it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out genuine caring people from the other…..does it? I understand your anger, just remember, what goes around comes around and that person will have to pay the ferryman sooner or later aye. I think you should revel in the fact that you helped a needy family and not let that "incident" take that away from you Keep on helping!

1st and foremost, is the kid alright now?
And who could have possible deleted the kids post? but i must tell you that whoever did that, is heartless and inhuman and has not only offended humanity but God also.

I agree that it is terribly wrong to delete your posting..especially when they will leave nude pics on a site… .. but it just seems like people now adays don't care about other people, only themselve… I can understand your anger and think it is great that you are helping this poor girl and her family…. I reflect on what one prophet told King David regarding his wish to build the temple of Jerusalem. You did well that it was in your heart. Many times, people are just not able to get out of their preprogrammed mindsets about what is visually acceptable. They are often locked in stupidity by political correctness, or some such delineation. What is it about people that makes them desire to exercise control over others, instead of finding a common ground that is mutually beneficial for everyone? Wisdom such as yours, unfortunately, is not common, neither is the proverbial common sense in the lives of those who only know how to communicate on a digital level.
