i have ipod 1st generation i regularly listen to music from that only and for 6 days i leave it like that and was not listening
today when i was listening then its battery LED light glows red that means its battery is low. When i connect it to my pc, its front LED lights glow but today they didn’t
My pc and my itunes7.2 was also not recognizing my ipod
i already have a ipod reset utility software but my ipod doesn’t connect to my pc

How old is this iPod and how many times has it been through a charge cycle? It may be that the battery is dead.
Are you using a rear port on your computer? What else is connected to the USB chain? Have you checked to see if the USB Root hub driver is the latest one for your computer? Have you tried it on another computer?
